Sam Moody (aka Moods) is a Canterbury lad with 16+ years of plumbing expertise. Having started out as an apprentice in 2004 with a third-generation family plumbing business, Sam’s skillset quickly grew to include housing outfits, retrofits and alterations, commercial construction, rural plumbing and residential maintenance. After completing his apprenticeship and passing the registration exam, Sam spent many years travelling and working abroad – further honing his skills in Los Angeles and British Colombia while indulging his passion for surfing, snowboarding and adventure. Returning home to Christchurch to launch Moods Plumbing, Sam passed his Certifying Plumbing exam in late 2013, which gives Moods Plumbing Ltd. the power to employ new staff, sign off new builds and sign producer statements which comply with local council standards. In looking ahead to the growth of his business, Sam and his team’s focus is on offering Christchurch the best plumbing services, future proofing new construction and installing quality New Zealand-made products.
